Rushaga
Southern Bwindi: the largest cluster of habituated families, more permit flexibility, and the usual base for habituation experiences.
Rushaga often has the best last-minute permit odds because more families are habituated here. Treks can be long. Access from Kabale or from Kigali is common. If you want the four-hour habituation product, start the conversation on Rushaga (and Nkuringo).
